Mpeg
layer 3 files or mp3s as they are most widely known as are basically
compressed wav files that have the ability to play sound at cd quality.
Because of the way an mp3 sounds, whole albums and music can be copied,
compressed, and released on the internet for free. This causes great
losses in revenue for record companies and labels every year. Because
