Every person on earth knows what happened almost a week ago, and to say the least, the events have been tragic. Not only because lives were lost, but because a large part of our security and comfort was shaken at its foundations. While the terrorists could've attacked a more symbolic structure, the Statue of Liberty for instance, the motive was obviously a war on civilians. While I am equally as horrified by the unfolding events of September 11th, I am as horrified by the reaction to the attacks. It makes me proud that we are all joining hands, if only briefly, to help one another through this time of crisis, but it troubles me that many people of arabic descent have been harassed. Even people who aren't arabic, for instance an Indian Siek and several Jewish women were assaulted because most Americans are too stupid to think before they act. People can't tell the difference between one turban wearer and the next. This attack is probably the most ingenious and most successful terrorist attack of all time. One can protect anything from coming into the building doors, but to send a plane into the towers was completely unexpected. The symbol of American financial might was destroyed, lives were lost, and our nation's airport security measures came under scrutiny. We are paranoid out of our minds, and this is exactly what they wanted, whoever they are. This attack was also successful because it exploited American ignorance, and we are now expected to go to war without even fully knowing who carried out the horrific destruction. Osama Bin Laden has already been marked as our enemy, or scapegoat. My deepest condolences go out to all those that have died...but I just feel we need to think before we act. We need to be positively sure we know the implications of our actions. I really wish Bush didn't say "we will hunt you down and smoke out your holes" because he is just stirring flase patriotism, and preventing the responsibity party from revealing themselves. We will inevitably go to war, and there really isn't anything I nor anyone else can do about it. I really wish we would all just continue do the thoughtful thing by donating money, food, and blood instead of being so quick as to point fingers at anyone suspicous. There has been enough bloodshed.

Welp, I didn't even sleep last night. I dug through my archive of photographs shot with my Canon G1 digital camera and came up with a great idea for my portfolio site. Worked feverishly for 4 hours straight. Didn't do any work on the links site as of yet, but you can preview the portfolio page now. Time to freakin sleep.

Just a few updates since earlier this morning. All links will now fade c/o anarchos. Guestbook is in semi working condition, still have to prune and rework some of the html (megabook is completely fucked up for some reason). Hope to get the links page finished and uploaded sometime today...doubt it though.

New site design! Finally I got off my ass and decided to revamp the old personal website. I'm absolutely addicted to the Swordfish soundtrack as of currently (Dark machine by Oakenfold is one of the better house tracks I've heard in a while).

I'm really looking forward to putting up my linkage page...I have something like 50 or so links (yes I really did browse all my internet favorites). Besides, I owe those people that have linked me (thanks Levi, Katet). Look forward to more content...

In other news, the mouse durability test is officially up on Winglitch! Hope you have as much fun reading this as we had trashing the crapper to pieces.

Nothing pisses me off more than people who choose to j-walk slowly across the street, simply because they know that you won't do anything to hurt them. Fuckers, I wish I could teach their inconsiderate asses a lesson. While we're on this topic of really stupid people, you have to check out Tyler's aimlogs. - absolutely funny as shit! That's it, new site goes up sometime tomorrow.
