Titian's Bacchanal painting

Bacchanal. circa 1518.
Oil on canvas, 5'8" x 6'4" (1.7 x 1.9m). Museo del Prado, Madrid

Titian's Bacchanal portrays a jovial uninhibited celebration in nature. The characters depicted are drinking, dancing, and courting one other. This is perhaps a reflection of how the society of the High Renaissance behaved.

Despite the carefree nature the painting exhibits, there is absolutely no lack of care for details, human form, color, and dimensions on Titian's part.
